Thursday Night Tasting
Wines of Chile | Apaltagua Wines
Thursday, March 12th | 5:30pm-7pm

A sliver of land on the Eastern Coast of South America, Chile holds some of the most interesting array of attractions in the world – from penguins, to active volcanoes, multiple UNESCO sites, the driest dessert, and gorgeous mountains to gorgeous beaches… but did you know Chile is also a larger wine producer than many might think? With seven wine regions and twenty distinct valley appellations – Chile is the 5th largest exporter of wines in the world! While Argentina often steals the spotlight with its outstanding Malbec product, Chile is stepping up and we’re noticing a trend towards enjoying more Chilean wines and we are here for that! But, with so many regions, appellations and options, how do you find out what you like? By joining us for a wine tasting of course!

Valleys of Flavor…
Built on a philosophy of caring for the environment and their employees, Apaltagua produces wines of character and value. Apaltagua has plantings in six different appellations within Apalta, Chile – we’ll be tasting from five of those valleys. Apaltagua wines have been a staple on our shelf for many years, patiently waiting for their day in the spotlight. We recently revisited them and were impressed and floored all over again with their quality; packing loads of flavor into value driven pricing. We’re eager to share with you this regional sampling, we hope you’ll enjoy these Chilean treats as much as we do…
