January can sometimes feel a little bleak, the holidays are over and everyone is hunkering down. So, we like to shake things up a little and give you a reason to get out of the house and enjoy good food, good wine, and great company. This month we’re welcoming Vincent Thebaud back to Burritt’s for our first dinner of 2019. The export manager for Laurent Dufouleur, Vincent lives and works in France and is looking forward to sharing these excellent wines with us. Laurent Dufouleur is owned and operated by its namesake, Laurent Dufouleur, a native of Nuits Saint Georges and a generational Burgundy wine producer. Laurent’s family has been producing wine in Burgundy since the 1800s and their Mercurey cellars date back to 1830 and are the only cellars to be completely built into the rock face. Laurent Dufouleur wines are terroir focused and driven, utilizing new technology to push forward the tradition and history of the estates.
