Holidays 2021 With Burritt’s
Thank you for planning your Holidays with us! As we head into the Holiday Season the safety protocols and routines we enacted during last year’s Holiday Season will be reinstated. This includes limited capacity in the store and masks requested** per Michigan Department of Health & Human Services’ release on Friday, November 19, 2021 which advises all individuals wear masks indoors to foster a safe holiday season* (MDHHS Release Can Be Read Here). Over the next 6 weeks we’re asking for your help to continue to uphold our commitment to safety and the highest quality shopping experience for the well-being of our customers and your families, our staff and their families, and our community of healthcare professionals and their families. We can have a safe holiday season by working together.
The Holiday Hustle
Small floor plan, big heart! We have a narrow store and the holidays traditionally bring an influx of customers and out of town shoppers into the store preparing for their holiday menu. This means an increase in the number of people congregated into a confined, indoor space who aren’t all from the same family group. Our mindset over the last year has been one of safety; safety of our customers, staff, and community. We continue to uphold that – we will actively monitor the number of shoppers in the store to create a safe working and shopping environment. Please dress accordingly in anticipation of short outdoor wait times. As Grandma would say: Wear Your Layers! Please be considerate of the shoppers around you and our staff, do not enter if you are feeling under the weather. Please call us and we will coordinate your order with you.
Holiday (Virtual) Hugs
We truly love and appreciate seeing all of you, we’re in this business because we love feeding people good food. Between now and New Year’s Eve we have our busiest weeks of the year. We’re geared up and excited to spend another Holiday Season helping you feed your family the best in freshest seafood, quality cuts of beef, and a wide selection of groceries and fresh produce. We’ve been going full speed since March 2020 as people have gravitated towards smaller stores, higher quality cuts of protein, and fresh groceries from smaller farmers. With a focus inward, we ask that you remember we’re all in this together – our staff is dedicated to providing you the best in quality product and the best service. Please be considerate this holiday season, we’re working as quickly as we can, please understand wait times allow our staff breathing room to complete the next order. Thank you for trusting us with your holiday traditions. We send virtual hugs and warm wishes to you and yours.
